This book mostly is a Hercules story and also involves Ares, Kratos, and Bia and leads into Avengers 100. There are also Skrulls present in the flashback and our buddy Rick Jones is around too. Besides Hercules, the Avengers roster comprises of Thor, Captain America, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, the Vision, Goliath / Hawkeye (he is both in this book), and Iron Man. Cover date is May 1972 and written by Roy Thomas and illustrated by Barry Smith and Tom Sutton with a Buscema cover.
